Bloodstone

Bloodstone was most commonly green with reddish "splodges" here and there; mythologically these are said to have been caused by the blood of Christ falling as he was on the Cross. However although geologically Bloodstone, much of the recent finds look very different and have a mixture of whites, browns and greens within many pieces.
