These can be of varying sizes and are the result of natural (raw) crystal being “tumbled” until it has become smooth and polished. Please note however, that some crystals do not smooth down as well as others, so there maybe some "lumps and bumps" in them; this is especially so with minerals such as Black Tourmaline.

A tumblestone will hold the same properties as a raw crystal, but will have the added smooth feel to it making “playing” and handling it much more comfortable and easier. They generally come in three or four sizes, small, medium, large, and very large, although the size usually favoured is the medium one and the very large ones may also be classed as "pebbles". We have separated all our tumblestones out alphabetically, but also in "family groups".
