Fulgurite is the result of lightning striking down onto an area of sand or sandy soil; the heat being so intense that it “melts” the sand and creates a type of “glass quartz” which forms as a “glass tube” (or “blow hole”) where the lightning has passed though the melted sand.

It is quite a powerful, high vibrational crystal although very fragile and delicate; it is believed to enhance spiritual connections especially when used with the higher chakras (clairaudience when used at the throat chakra). 

It is often used for Shamanic Journeying and meditation; it is considered great as a  manifestation crystal, for this set your intention and “blow it out through the blow hole in the Fulgurite”.
