Snowflake Obsidian gets its name from its white markings that look like snowflakes.

It is often referred to as the “stone of purity”.

It is believed to provide a balance between mind, body, and spirit. Snowflake Obsidian is a very calming and soothing crystal (hence good for those times of stress, low moods and fear), encouraging you to recognise your patterns of behaviour, and gently “allowing” you to release emotional blockages.

It can teach you to value (and learn from) mistakes as well as successes. Snowflake is believed to ward off negative energies and protect its environment.
