Tangerine Quartz (Hematite Quartz) Cluster 46 gm

This little Tangerine (Hematite) Quartz weighs approximately 46gm and measures approx. 6 by 3.5 by 1.5 cm at its widest parts.

This little cluster comes from Brazil.

Although still a combination of Clear Quartz and Hematite, this piece has been given an additional name of Tangerine Quartz. The properties are the same, but usually the difference is how the Hematite and Quartz grow together. The Tangerine Quartz tends to have the Hematite on the outside (as in "coating" it) whilst with Hematite Quartz it appears to grow within the Quartz.
