Poplar wands are good for working with fire-based rituals. Poplar leaves rustle even in the slightest breeze which the ancient Druids believed to be a message from the Gods; it was this belief that made this a sacred tree. A poplar wand helps one to listen to their own conscience and to relate to the natural world around them.
This wand has been “treated” with beeswax polish following debarking and sanding; it also has the following herbs inserted into the handle.
Mugwort – For strength, protection and cleansing
Vervain – for Protection and purification
Yarrow – for clearing negativity and easing fears
